EDITION 1
Rooted in more than forty years of Chanakya’s unrivalled savoir-faire, the atelier reimagines ancestral techniques of needlework, handweaving, and embellishment through the prism of modern invention. Each garment is made-to-measure, shaped in intimate dialogue with the body, and realised through thousands of hours of embroi-dery, draping, tailoring, cutting, assembling, and finishing, entrusted to Chanakya’s highly-skilled 13th-generation master artisans.
Within this evolving lexicon, 18th-century handmade Renaissance lace is reinterpreted through contemporary needlepoint, yielding sculptural, three-dimensional forms. Floral motifs bloom in mixed media — thread, sequin, glass crystal, fire-pol-ished bead, and stone — forming exquisite jardins of handcraft. Crystal grids assemble into geometric patterns, imagined as a modern armour of embellishment. Each technique is both homage and transformation, preserving fragile lineages of making while opening them to new expressions of form and possibility.

Transcending seasons, Chorus Edition asserts couture as a living language that honours the past, celebrates the present, and shapes the future. At its heart is the act of making, elevated into its most rarefied form.
